Ep. 50: How To Eat To Maximise Energy & Minimise Stress - Metabolic Health Coach Jake Miner

In this episode of the Being Human podcast I sat down with metabolic health coach, Jake Miner.

Jake coaches people using the principles of metabolic eating and the thermogenic diet - pioneered by Dr. Ray Peat - to help them minimise stress and maximise energy in their body. This is done by placing great focus on optimising the function of the thyroid and maximising testosterone, amongst other hormones.

In this conversation we went into a whole host of metabolic eating principles.

Jake shared:

- Why aspirin can be such a powerful supplement for people to improve their vitality.

- The least toxic and easiest sources of protein for the body to break down and utilise.

- Why ‘sparkling’ mineral water in particular can be beneficial for your metabolic health.

- Why cigars are actually manly.

- Misconceptions about cholesterol.

And a whole lot more.

I always say, no diet is for everyone - and this includes the thermogenic diet/metabolic eating. However, I have incorporated many of the principles and protocols discussed in this episode over the past few years, and I have found them to be of great benefit to my health and vitality. So if you are in a place where your body feels stressed or you do not feel as though you have the energy you need, then I would indeed recommend looking into the principles of metabolic eating and the thermogenic diet.

I hope you find value and enjoy the conversation.
