In the season finale of Behind The Podium, Ella and Daniel have ABC sports journalist Amanda Shalala on to talk over their favourite moments from the Games and discuss the new discipline’s that debuted at Tokyo 2020. Conversation then shifts to the management of COVID-19 at the Games in Tokyo, and the three discuss the intersection of social justice causes and sport. They finish off by looking ahead to Paris 2024 and the dream of a post-COVID sporting world.
