Jill Dudzinski recently sold her fashion truck business, hello ruby. It was such an amazing chapter of her life, but now it’s time for something new. She's taking all the lessons she's learned and diving into what she loves most: sharing the stories behind the small businesses that make our communities so special. Jill will also be focusing on supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs through vendor event curation, boutique coaching, and growing A Local Collective, a community for Nebraska’s small businesses. Her mission is to help small businesses grow, thrive, and navigate the world of entrepreneurship with practical advice, resources, and connections. In Behind the Business, Jill will be chatting with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and all-around inspiring people. We’ll talk about what it’s really like to build something from the ground up—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Whether it’s figuring out how to get started, creating a standout brand, or navigating the crazy challenges that come with running a business, these are the stories that don’t always get told. So, if you love supporting small businesses, have a dream of starting your own, or just want to hear some inspiring and relatable stories, this podcast is for you. Behind Little and Core Movements
In this episode, Jill Dudzinski sits down with Marissa Whalen, the visionary mind behind Little Movements Apparel and Core Movements. From a spark of inspiration to two thriving brands, Marissa shares how Little Movements came to life, starting with her mission to design a sports bra without removable padding and the gap she saw in the market. Jill and Marissa also reflect on how they first met and dive into the realities of building a product-based business. Marissa opens up about the manufacturing process, including what didn’t go as planned and the lessons learned along the way. It’s an honest and energizing conversation about entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and the passion behind building something meaningful.   Follow Marissa: https://www.instagram.com/littlemovementsapparel/?hl=en https://www.instagram.com/core.movements/?hl=en   Shop and support by using code BEHINDTHEBIZ for 10% off at https://littlemovementsapparel.com/   Connect with me!
