S04E20: Does your faith reflect the cross or your culture?

This is Behind the Beards. Where we will pull the curtain back, take a look behind the scenes and reveal the things that go on in the hearts and minds of your church and ministry leaders. This season we are looking for new ways to prepare ourselves and our people for the Christian life. As a staff, we have been working through "Emotionally Healthy Discipleship" by Peter Scazzerro. Over the next few weeks we will reflect on some things we have learned about deep discipleship that endures. A faith shaped by culture rather than the cross is not a uniquely American issue. It also isn't a new one. Let's talk about how we can learn from Peter and our own past to be better going forward.
