In 1974, the Pittsburgh Steelers may had been on the rise, and Chuck Noll, his staff of coaches and scouts were no different from those of today. They didn’t always agree on who to pick, especially when when you have selected players, as Noll put it,
that were supposedly too small, slow, and skinny.
