Sacred Six: The Rituals & Practices Helping Me Heal From Burnout

At the end of 2023, I hit a wall. Anxiety and burnout forced me to slow down and rebuild (you can hear more in earlier episodes). Out of that experience came Beautiful Inside — a space for honest conversations about mental health, healing, and redefining beauty as something that starts within.

In this solo episode, I share my current Sacred Six — the six rituals and mindset shifts helping me heal, reset, and find balance.

1. Creating a Sacred Space

2. Energy Healing: The Spiral Soul Healing with Kellie
I recently completed an 8-week Spiral with SoulHealingKellie. Her own story of trauma and transformation inspired me to dive in, and the process combined emotional clearing, EFT, and inner child work.

What it gave me:

• More openness, less procrastination

• Courage to take action

• Cleared blocks around goal-setting and asking for what I want

• Freedom to dream bigger without fearIt taught me one vital lesson: get out of your own way.

3. Spinal Energetics with Dr Sarah Jane

Dr Sarah Jane created Spinal Energetics™, blending chiropractic, psychology, and energy work. In my session, she “read” my pain with uncanny accuracy — at one point, my arm felt on fire. Though my neck pain is ongoing, I saw how physical and emotional healing mirror one another.

4. Breath & Sound Healing with Tanya Alijani

Through her Soulchemy method, Tanya combines breathwork and sound frequencies that shift the body into deep relaxation. My intention was to release parenting anxiety — I left feeling lighter, calmer, transformed.

5. Yin Yoga at Modern Movement

Yin has become my Sunday reset. At Modern Movement, teachers Tim and Rose create a spiritual, still space that balances out the intensity of other practices.

6. Mindset Shifts with Mel Robbins

Mel Robbins’ Let Them philosophy and 5 Second Rule gave me structure and motivation. They helped me clarify my fitness goals — weights, running, swimming — and reminded me that movement is medicine for body, mind, and soul.
