Episode 28 - Creating sustainable & ethical facial kits, reducing single use plus tips & truths when it comes to start ups with Katie Eales, founder of Sabbia Co.

Hi guys and welcome back to Be the Girl Podcast. Listen up babes - if you want to have a simpler, cleaner beauty routine that also is good for the planet this episode is for you! My guest today has created a beautiful, ethical brand with minimal impact on the environment that includes unique facial kits that contain sustainable, reusable, eco-friendly and chemical-free tools. These kits cleanse, exfoliate and remove makeup with just WATER! In just 12 months they have stopped a staggering 8 million single-use makeup wipes from going into landfill which is just incredible.

I'm so excited to introduce Katie Eales from Sabbia Co. to chat all about how a visit to Sri Lanka started her business journey along with her partner Dave, her passion for the ocean and the environment that continues to drive Sabbia's mission and purpose, simple and effective sustainable tips to help your skin glow without harming the planet, how to start your own personal journey to minimise single use in your home plus tips and truths about creating a startup, building an engaged community and some advice when it comes to modern marketing.

Let's get into the episode!
