Good Night is a lullaby that John Lennon wrote for his son Julian, and was the final song on the Beatles’ 1968 album The Beatles. The Beatles recorded the song with an orchestra arranged and conducted by George Martin, and Ringo Starr sang the lead vocals. Lennon was probably embarrassed to sing it himself, as he considered it too sentimental1. Sinatra would have made it a classic hit, with his smooth voice and impeccable phrasing.
