We are experiencing the highest rate of change and disruption in history. The fourth industrial revolution is unlike anything the world has ever seen before. It is about nanotechnology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, distributed ledger, and machine learning and it is poised to transform business completely.
These waves of innovation are coming at an accelerated rate, threatening to kill trends and consumer behavioral patterns that we have grown accustomed to. In the wake of this new reality, companies have to build new concepts and capabilities continuously to keep up with the shift in the market.
On this episode of TechTalk Tuesdays, our hosts Henry Childs II and Hanita Chalabi speak with Fernando J. Hernandez to talk about the future and what entrepreneurs and large companies need to do in order to 'Win the Future'.
Fernando J. Hernandez serves as the Supplier Diversity Director for Microsoft Corporation. In this capacity, he drives Microsoft’s strategies for achieving Supplier Diversity & Sustainability objectives. He is responsible for Microsoft’s $3.4 Billion annual Supplier Diversity initiative and over $4 Billion in Sustainability spend.
He formerly served as the Executive Director of Multicultural Marketing at AT&T. Mr Hernandez established and implemented multicultural business segments in business and consumer marketing (Hispanic, African-American, and Asian) at AT&T in 1991. He is the recipient of NMSDC Leadership Award and the Island Medal of Honor.
