We are in very dire times and now more than ever we can't be distracted by political stunts and trickery.
Unforgiveness is like torture
Unforgiveness makes us feel angry, cold, hard, bitter, and resentful. The impact of unforgiveness can be physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Yes, you may feel justified in your anger, yet you must choose what you desire - your anger or freedom from anger.
SORRY FOR THE LACK OF EDITING
I wanted to get this out tonight while the thoughts were fresh. We watched VP Harris hold her own and look very presidential and former President Trump surprise us with new levels of low.
#2024debate
With this shaping up to be another close election, we are gathering input and feedback to talk about what matters in November.
It's an election year once again, and the stakes couldn't be higher. Regardless of what party you are, you can gather something from this. Every group has someone that holds you back and its time that we cut them loose or get them on board. This long overdue and a first to opening dialogue of podcasts to come soon.
There is and should be no surprise about our past presidential debate. This is truly a too little too late effort by the democratic party which accomplish little next to nothing, so the question is why are they surprised that their chances of occupying the presidency again is looking so bad? This is my walking opinion of the mess the Democrats are enduring by their own hands, If you have to worry about someone who has 30 plus felonies and a practical liar being able to out best your party then that says a lot about yourself and not Trump.
Covering "victories" that does nothing for us means nothing. Roe v Wade, insulin, Medicare, immigration, and loan forgiveness (covers almost no borrowers " I feel it is too late for President Biden's pandering to black voters as their needs were not addressed. What are your thoughts?
Fathers day reflection, and finding that fatherly feeling when providing knowledge and life experiences.
Here is a raw reaction to my 5/16/24 session where I am dealing with the loss of my son, and not being able to reconnect with my youngest so.
The numbers are supporting that more false claims of domestic abuse are on the rise, and as someone who was falsely accused its time to speak up. This series of episodes will look at real life stories. The damage that can be inflicted is great and even when proven innocent you never really are.
Sorry for the delay, life, moving job locations and the pain/lessons of doing a mobile podcast had its challenges, but we are back at it
A simple question asked by a listener that really touched me. Just because you are speaking about fatherhood and mental health does not make you immune to problems. The lesson is to check on your friends and family, and request that they do the same.
Stay blessed not stressed

Today's lesson is KarmaFor years I used to make that ignorant joke that talked about fathers meeting their kids for the first time on Easter Sunday. I never knew the level of insensitivity and ignorance that I displayed. I can say 5 years down the road that thoughtless cockiness that was displayed has came back to me like no other. The karma is I am now that father, I am that father who would give anything to meet my children for Easter. The best advice I can provide today is simply don't play games with God. Happy resurrection Sunday to all, and if you are with your families remember to love on them everyday and not just the days that some candy company says we should.Love you Darrius, the is always open***Let me say***Im not sad, im determined. The wrong done by others is on their collective heads, I will continue to continue to do right and support the fathers in this fight. Point and purpose can be found in tragedy but most importantly testimony.
After watching the Netflix Movie "The After" was a good exercise in why we need to grieve and why it's never good to bottle it up. I for one have done that and the damage you cause is incredible. Help is always there, but you must be able to seek or accept it.

Very powerful story from a friend and fellow listener Caleb K, this brother was here for me when my son passed away, and out of a gift of love he shared about the loss of his son. I promise you that you need to hear this in its entirety as things aren't simple as you would have thought.

I lost my oldest son Reginald Jr one year ago today, this is a pain like no other because I never knew he was sick. The victims of a narcissist mother who felt it was her only way to get back at their father. I have a choice to be consumed about grief, or do something positive with it. The point is simple leave your children out of the failed marriage of two adults.

We are in an unusual and uncertain time in politics, as an afro American we are in dire times, and with almost certainty the republicans taking control of the white house mainly due to the failure of Biden/Harris. There are no clear answers on what the democratic party can do to right this ship. No votes are not going to help, and a democrat vote is ineffective.
What do we do?
We discuss dating abroad with special guest Julia Jackson. Diving into different topics with dating post covid, and getting it from a woman's perspective.
