The extensive media coverage, of conflicts is not new. Yet in the course of one week, schools in places as disparate as Kabul, Kazan, in Russia,and Gaza, became the centre, of global attention as hatred and fear, turned schools into battlegrounds, and children, victims of hatred and fear, pawns in wars, they did not start.
