When you have these symptoms and patterns in your life, you'll know that you're carrying bitterness and harboring the fruits that come along with it.   

1. Bitterness imprisons a believer’s emotions. 

2. Bitterness poisons a believer’s life. 

3. Bitterness opens a believer’s life to Satan. 

4. Bitterness closes a believer’s life to God.   

Bitterness will disable you from everything God has in store for you. It disables you to walk in the fullness of your calling.

What must we do? Mark 11:25 tells us, "But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."
