86: Death of the Good Girl. Facing our Fears & Releasing Perfection (Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo)

We have officially entered the eclipse portal!

Every 6 months we typically have 2 eclipses that bring fated change into our lives. The Full Moon Eclipse this week will be taking place along the Virgo / Pisces axis, helping us release any emotional baggage that we are meant to clear out as we close out the astrological year. This eclipse will be shining a light on the parts of us that we expect to be perfectly organized and always in service to others. We have to let go of the parts of us stuck in rigidity so we can move towards a more fluid, creative, and intuitive way of being. We are sacrificing the "good girl" we were brought up to be, and allowing our true nature to get into the driver's seat.

Interestingly enough, the ruling planet of Virgo is Mercury, and it will go retrograde the day after the eclipse almost at the exact same place that Venus went retrograde on March 1st. This is the Universe saying, "Hey - I know you just gained awareness into old parts of yourself that you're no longer wanting to carry with you. Now, it's time to revisit the ways in which you communicate, connect, and think so you can re-emerge from the retrograde in a few weeks with an entirely new perception of self." Truthfully you're tired of your own bullshit and gaining power over the fears or confusion you've been scared to face.
