Brandon is missing!!! (Ok, not really, we just really like the opening crawl to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.) Actually, he is taking a (hopefully) brief vacation visiting Re-Education Camp to talk about their new LP "Challenge the League" which drops May 19th. You can get an early copy now for only $3 on Patreon, and as a bonus you get instant access to our entire catalog of 25 albums reaching back to 2001. Visit http://badapplerecords.net/re-education-camps-challenge-league-details/?utm_source=Podcast%20Show%20Notes&utm_term=Challenge%20the%20League for details on this, the official album release, upcoming music videos, and more...

In This Episode:
• Who is "the league" and why are we challenging them?
• Collaboration vs. producing solo
• What makes art edgy, and does that always make it better?
• Why does Rob Thomas always look so pissed/horrified?
• Help the Police: https://youtu.be/4Kf4kyQabwQ
• Is Doc Johnny whiter than Sinbad? (Spoiler: No)
• Joe the Manager hacks up a hairball
• More about the tracks "7 O'Clock" and "Acoustic Leviathan"

Renaissance Man (Brandon Interviews Zack from 12 Parsecs to Home)
Happy Halloween! As promised, "Tales From Sol" by 12 Parsecs to Home is now available to everyone at www.badapplerecords.net/shop - and soon on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, etc... (Remember, our supporters on Patreon at the $3 level already have already been jamming to this for a couple of weeks!)

Today Brandon sits in his son's Spiderman bed to place a phone call to Zack Messick (a true renaissance man) about his new solo album, his work with Re-Education Camp, his other work with live bands like All Around the Dinner Table and Sempervivi, his production work with independent musicians like Lexington's Rmllw2llz, his recent engagement AND birthday... did we mention Zack's a busy guy?

Zack is also a history and politics buff. He enjoys cooking and home brewing, reading, and... you know what? Zack is just the freaking man, ok? Trust us on this one.

Help us fill our last two nights on tour at www.badapplerecords.net/booking (we still need help in Little Rock and Nashville).

Weekly Download (FREE to our Supporters on Patreon):
"(Space)walk in the Park" by 12 Parsecs to Home
