It was created in the midst of several global upheavals and a sudden loss of constant in-person connection. Back to Basics is about finding our way back to those connections in a new world. About finding and nurturing those connections through various events. In each season we'll be discussing the power of events/programming and community with various organizers, and sometimes little old me!

It's About You, Me, Us

We are half-way through the season! WOOOOOO! Some exciting stuff coming at ya in the latter half of this season ;) In episode 4 join me as I take you through shifting your mindset from thinking strictly surface level party, to elevating said party into an intimate gathering.

Through a series of examples I'm walking you through how as host it's not about "me, myself, and I". It's about "You, Me, Us". This is the core idea of this season. Shifting it from the idea of Me as host to you the guests, me as host, and Us. How the gathering is for all of us, not just you or me.
