Baby Ladle was created during an afternoon walk Brandt. We were chatting away and figured we should document our funny and sometimes heated discussions. As we were trying to find a name for a mother and son duo, most of the "cool ones" were already taken. I really wanted to have "Fork and Spoon" I don't remember why but it was what popped into my head. After some brainstorming and word play, Brandt came up with Baby Ladle, aka small spoon. It stuck!
Our relationship is ever changing. We are finding ourselves in a new era and are ready to share! Maybe other family members will join in!

Episode 2: Self care is important and comes in many ways
When I think of self care, I think of going to a spa. I'm not sure why but that's what comes up.
I'm not sure about you but I don't have to go to a spa as much as I would love to go. I tend to put my self care on the back burner. As a mom and entrepreneur I am so busy looking after others and my business that I "FEEL" I don't have time for myself.
I've learned that self care comes in many forms, it can be as simple as having a nap, going for a walk, having a bath or a shower. For me personally, I like to go for walks, have naps and be creative. This summer I found myself renovating our bathroom, doing fall projects, painting tables, cleaning out the clutter. It felt so good to tackle all the projects, as I felt like I was cleaning out my mind.
My son enjoys building things and fixing things. It gives him a sense of pride and accomplishment.
