In this episode of the Jatak, Panchatantra and Hittopadesh Tales podcast, we explore the story of the snake and the ants. Once upon a time, a mighty black snake named Nagraj lived inside an anthill on a rocky outcrop. Every day, Nagraj would venture out in search of food, using a safe passage to avoid the dangerous sharp stones around the anthill. However, one day he decided to take a different route and got stuck between two rocks, wounded and unable to move. This created the perfect opportunity for the ants, who had been waiting to take revenge after Nagraj had driven them away from their home. Drawn by the scent of blood, hundreds of ants began to crawl all over the mighty snake, stinging him and enlarging his wounds. Ultimately, Nagraj met his fate and perished under the unrelenting attacks of the ants. Join us as we delve into the moral of this story, reminding us that even the mightiest among us are destined to meet their end. This story was rewritten by Amar Vyas and edited by Gatha for your listening pleasure.
