Grandparents tend to show more love and affection to their grandchildren than to their own children! This could perhaps be due to pre-occupation and 'busy'ness to run around to earn money to secure their Children's future. Now that is achieved, at this ripe age, they focus their attention towards these 'little people' at home. Parents usually have to be 'extra strict' towards their children to ensure they are safe, away from any potential risks, and also imbibe good values, principles as they grow into their adulthood. Grandparents take on the role of the ones that Pamper and shelter these kids from any perceived 'Trouble' from their parents ;-)
Having Grandparents around also ensures that the family legacy is passed down to the future generations in the form of Stories, Recipes, Games, Relationships, etc. Many of these anecdotes, tell us what any OTT Streaming platforms could NOT! Also, Children learn 'Values' and 'Beliefs' that endure a lifetime!
