What a treat it was for me to get into the mind and hearts of the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and Princess Yasmine Pahlavi. I am sincerely grateful not just for the opportunity they gave me, but the trust they instilled in me to have such a “khodemooni” (casual) chat...on air.
The wide ranging, light hearted and at times vulnerable conversation covered everything from Norouz, courtship, love, family, parenting, cooking, mental health, cancer, Iranian refugees and what will hopefully become the most epic and impactful benefit concert featuring the Prince on the drums!
The part of our conversation that touched me the most, was regarding Iranian refugees. As you will see in the episode, the Prince, Princess and I have already planted the seed to produce the most epic Persian benefit concert in history. Let’s Unite & Conquer to ensure that at the very least, our fellow Persians are given the opportunity to live a life where they have basic living needs and safe conditions!
