This theme is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history. Welcome my guests as we discuss the role of caregiving and our peronal experiences of caregiving during the Covid Pandemic. Guests: Reverend Dr. Evelyn Vigil: grief counselor at Heartland Hospice, sabbatical replacement pastor at the Community Church of Sunnyvale -UCC, former facility chaplain at the Santa Clara County main jail. Cindy Spencer: retired pharmacist and licensed attorney, member of Sunnyvale s Age-Friendly Advisory Committee, most recently providing care and advocacy for elderly family and friends during the COVID pandemic.
