Amidst the controversy (and maybe partially because of it) I decided to finish the original Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy over the last few weeks. All of the films are readily available on Disney+, so check them out if you’re interested. These films were filmed essentially back to back, and the story certainly continues across both movies, so for the sake of this blog, I’m going to review them as if they were one movie, but I do prefer one over the other, which I’ll explain.
