In late October 2024, the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF) held its annual Step Into Power event. Attendees met the latest AWAF scholarship recipients and heard a Q&A presentation from Aruna Anand, President and Chief Executive Officer for Continental Automotive North America.
During the event, Marley Devergilio, Membership Board Chair for AWAF, spoke with Carl Anthony about the role of organizations like AWAF in the automotive industry. Marley shares why it’s important to ”bridge the gap” and encourages younger women to consider three key variables to determine if automotive is the right career for them.
