Big chats with our latest guest Devika! Listen as she tells us all about her journey with chronic illness and getting a diagnosis, mental health, disability, decolonising our minds and her hilarious story on how she got into poetry and the creative arts!

Devika is an artist, civil engineer and youth mental health advisor who grew up in Meanjin/ Brisbane and lives in Naarm/Melbourne. Her mental health work consists of assisting researchers and clinicians at Orygen to provide inclusive mental health care for the youth. As an artist she's mostly performed as a spoken word poet and was the Australian Poetry Slam nation finalist in 2020!
