In this episode, you are going to hear an audio play COMEFLORES written by an Erasmus student Alba.
Alba de los Ángeles Soto Maciá is a student of Device and Physical Theatre at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático in Murcia. She combines her passion for the arts with a degree in Psychology at the UOC, bringing an integrated vision of art as a healing tool into her projects and raising awareness about mental health issues.
Comeflores IV was conceived as an interdisciplinary project combining photography, installation, puppet theatre, and audio theatre, all of which premiered between January and June 2025 at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts during her stay in Brno. In the project, she explores how identity, from early childhood, can be shaped around beliefs such as “being evil.”
The project also features Cris Simó Monleón, who holds a degree in Piano Pedagogy from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia. Her passion for theatre led her to specialize in stage creation and dramaturgy. In Comeflores, she is the creator of the sound concept, including original music composition, and also performs on stage as a pianist.
Camilo Laguna Cortina also participates in the project. He holds a degree in Acting from the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático in Seville and has also trained in Recorder and Composition at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Cristóbal de Morales. In Comeflores, he plays the role of narrator and musical accompanist, supporting and enriching the narrative through his vocal performance and the melodies of the recorder.Enjoy.
