
Gary S. May is the seventh chancellor of UC Davis. Previously, he served as the Dean of the Georgia Tech College of Engineering, where he founded Georgia Tech's Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering/Science (SURE) program, a summer research initiative designed to attract talented minority students to graduate school.
