Tanner shares a lot about his baseball growth all the way from when he was young, to playing at Cal State Fullerton and eventually being drafted by the Guardians. We discuss what it has been like for him in the Guardians organization, adding a fourth pitch to his mix, his healthy velocity addition to his fastball, and his absolute dominance of the strike zone this prior season that just ended. He boasted an insane K/BB%, striking out 126 while walking only 27. We talk about life as a developing player, what Tanner enjoys doing outside of baseball, his goals for the off-season and continuing his extreme growth into next season. Tanner also shared with us some things about a few other Guardians prospects and what it is like to play among such a talented pool of developing players.
