Eden is a content creator and the host of “Field Notes From the Spiritual Journey” where she explores shadow work, healing, and navigating the spiritual journey as a highly sensitive being. Eden holds a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Human Spirituality & Well-being and studied spiritual tantra at The Shakti School, including the methodologies of meditation and visualization, techniques for regulating the nervous system, emotional processing and manifestation.

In this episode, Eden discusses the tough decision to close her spiritual coaching business and go back into the workforce. She talks about the creative evolution she’s experienced on her personal transformation journey, and she shares what to do if you’re met with resistance or feel stuck despite taking aligned action. We talk about “unsubscribing” from the outcome, which requires both dissolution and surrendering to the process. We discuss the difference between ‘giving up’ and ‘surrendering,’ the metaphorical ‘eclipse’ we experience once we surrender and the grief that comes with it. Eden introduces Carl Jung’s philosophy of holding the tension of the opposites so that you become comfortable in the in-between, and she explains why you don’t need clarity to move forward. We discuss the ego, how it can distort people’s perception of you and how to cope when you’re experiencing an “ego death.” We talk about the subtle energetic shift that occurs when you start making decisions from your authentic self instead of from your ego. Eden shares the importance of feeling safe and supported in order to thrive creatively and explains why you sometimes have to take a detour in order to reach the destination on the path toward your dreams.
