Dr. Yates is the owner of Yates Equine Sports Medicine based in Ocala, Florida, which specializes in performance horses. She received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. In addition to being an equine veterinarian, Dr. Yates is also certified in acupuncture, chiropractics, equine rehabilitation, and she serves as an FEI vet.
