EP33: Designing Our Ideal Lives
Today we want to ask the question, if you could design your life exactly how you want it to be, what would that life look like? In this episode, we discuss our vision of our ideal life, and how we want to achieve them. This exercise is inspired by the lifebook, a programme that was recommended to me by a dear friend Harsha who had found it beneficial in planning his life goals. The lifebook consists of 12 categories, but today we are doing a more condensed version, and we will go through some of the key categories. We talk about our ideal life visions for health & fitness, intellectual and emotional life, relationships with parents and our career. EP28: Honest Review of Netflix's Show - Single's Inferno

We are late to the game, but in this epiosde we are going to be reviewing the show ‘Single’s Inferno’!

Single’s Inferno is a Korean dating show on Netflix, the premise of the show is that they put a group of very attractive single people on an island they called the ‘inferno’, which has very basic amenities, which we think is more like a glamping situation.

They can escape as couples for date nights on another ‘Paradise island’ in the presidential suites of a luxury hotel, if they manage to couple up through voting or wining games.

In this week’s episode, we talk about how this show compare to other dating shows that you have watched. We talk about who we think was a more entertaining couple in the show, and gave our honest opinion on the drama between Se Hoon and So Yeon.

Was Se Hoon overreacting? Or, was So Yeon being indecisive and in the wrong?

We talk about the shocking incident of Se Hoon voting for Ji Yeon for the third time for a date to the paradise, and who among the contestants we like to go out on a lunch date with!

EP26: 36 Questions to Fall In Love

Continuing on the theme of love, the three of us decided to look into the famous "36 questions to fall in love" from the New York Times.

These questions were first used in a study to explore whether intimacy between two strangers can be quickly built up by asking each other a series of personal questions. These questions are split into three sets, with each set being more personal than the previous one.  Join us in this episode as we answered a selection of questions from this list to test if we feel closer to each other at the end. It was a fun experiment for us!

For those looking to build a deeper connection with your other half, you can find the questions here (https://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/09/style/no-37-big-wedding-or-small.html).

Do let us know how you got on!

EP25: Exploring Love Languages

Happy Valentine's Day!

In honour of the season of love, in this episode we explore the 5 Love Languages, a concept coined by Gary Chapman in his book, "The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate".  The premise of love language is that in any relationship, we all give love and receive love in different ways. This concept of love language is that there are 5 different ways where people do so: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch.

Naturally, most of us would tend to give love in the way that we prefer to receive love, and in fact, the idea here is that we can achieve better communication as couples when we demonstrate care to our significant other in a a "language" that they understand.   Join us in this episode as we talk about our love languages, explore what it means to be defined into different categories of "love", and whether love languages can be applied to all other relationships outside of our romantic relationships.

EP24: Lunar New Year - Our Traditions

Happy Lunar New Year! It's the time of the year for red packets, delicious cookies, copious amounts of food, fun (and sometimes awkward) family gatherings, new clothes and so much more! If you celebrate, what is your favourite part about lunar new year?  The three of us grew up celebrating the lunar new year in Malaysia, and to a certain extent we have tried to celebrate in our own ways where we now live.

Join us in this episode as we discuss the traditions we grew up with and the things that we love (or not love) about this special festival. This is the year of the tiger, and us "horses" are expecting a great year ahead - how much do you read into zodiac predictions?

EP23: How Our Siblings Shaped Us

Our parents made us siblings, we became friends on our own. All three of us grew up with siblings. We have been friends for a long time but we have never shared much about our siblings. This week's episode is emotional (tears were shed), it is vulnerable, raw and fun and it is by far one of our top favourite episodes to record!

Join us in this episode as we talk about our relationships with our siblings, and the roles they play in our lives. We share our relationships with our siblings in our childhood and how it has changed as we became adults. We talk about some of the most cherished memories we have with our siblings and share things that we have always wanted to tell our siblings but never had the courage to say in person.
