047 // The Empowerment in Walking Away with Alex Modzelewski

047 // The Empowerment in Walking Away with Alex Modzelewski

Today's conversation explores the ultimate question of "When do I walk away from something?" through Alex's graciousness to share her story with us.

It is a powerful reflection on cultural ideas around "quitting" that are deeply ingrained in many of us - is choosing something new or different quitting? What is quitting? Why might our view of endings prevent us from letting go of what no longer serves us and stepping into what can?

What we learn through this journey is that walking away is a liberator and catalyst for growth and expansion. I don't call that quitting, I call that empowerment.

49:54 how this applies to so much and looking at it through the lens of my eating disorder recovery and transitions; “not turning back is really important for your growth and being uncomfortable is just so important to learn more about yourself” - Alex
