Molto attivo in veste di sideman con collaborazioni di prestigio, ritorna con un album a proprio nome dopo una lunga parentesi, presentando un progetto costituito interamente di sue composizioni, pensato e collaudato dopo innumerevoli concerti con un quintetto di eccellenza formato da alcuni dei suoi compagni di viaggio più fidati. Il polistrumentista lucano Attilio Troiano al sassofono tenore e flauto, il pianista pugliese Bruno Montrone, il batterista lucano Pasquale Fiore e Fabrizio Bosso alla tromba che ha abbracciato totalmente il progetto partecipando alla realizzazione di tutte le tracce. L’album attraversa tutte le tematiche e forme del Jazz moderno, filtrate ed attualizzate attraverso la sapiente cifra autorale del leader.
