An art piece entitled "Black Swan" by Cryptograffiti was auctioned to the lowest bidder for a milli-satoshi using the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Cryptograffiti is quoted as posting "I'm excited about a future where micropayments are omnipresent. Artists paid by the view...writers by the poem...musicians by the listen."

According to the article, at least one art retailer, Lynx Art Collection, owned by Frank McKeever, said the bear market had little effect on sales, selling over 1,000 pieces of crypto art repesenting 75% of the company's sales.
