Welcome to the first episode from Art Crime International, a content provider run by RJ, that will introduce you to the white collar crime world of Art Crime.
This episode covers the introduction and initial research into Head of a Young Girl in Profile to the Left, later renamed La Bella Principessa, as a possible Leonardo from the 1490's. A unique portrait, the work undergoes various scientific tests and intense provenance research, but the art world still can't agree on whether it is a Leonardo or not. Join RJ as you unravels the case, taking you step by step through the research material and giving their two cents on whether the academics are as truthful as they seem.
