In this episode, we’re inside the UFR Research Station Osiris, currently orbiting the Carina Nebula—a vast, real-world star-forming region over 7,500 light-years from Earth. Osiris is observing an interstellar anomaly known as Object 514-C, a self-repeating neutrino burst that may be the first observed remnant signal from a pre-galactic civilization. It’s a scientific posting of immense prestige - and potential danger. The anomaly occasionally disrupts local communications, and proximity to dark matter filaments poses a navigational hazard. Despite this, political pressure means the position of Orbital Administrator must be filled immediately.
