Welcome to Anime in Action, a brand new podcast brought to you by me, Steff a newfound anime lover and storytelling fiend. No matter whether you have never seen an anime before, used to watch anime as a kid, are a full blown anime addict, I am sure there is something in this podcast for you! In each episode I will talk about a different anime series as picked, hopefully, by you! Although I have been furiously consuming new anime for the past year and a half, I have by no means seen or even heard of them all and that is half the fun! Spoiler warnings will be in full effect and recommendations sent in through IG or through Anchor are highly appreciated!

Whether they were released yesterday or in 1999 this podcast will be a place for people to come and discover new anime shows and movies or be reminded of old favourites to watch again. Anime is for everyone and can be discovered and rediscovered all the time. To ensure I can cater to both anime newbies and anime veterans, this podcast will consist of two main types of episodes, short Spoiler Free Series/Film Overviews and Recommendations, and more in depth Spoiler filled Series/Film Reviews and breakdowns. The Overviews will be a perfect place for people to turn to discover new shows to watch without fear of spoilers, and the Reviews will be a place were we can collectively geek out on the show from beginning to end, talk about the characters, the design, the story arcs and the cliffhangers. Episode 0 will be a bit of a background on my experience with anime up until this point as well as an explanation of why I love anime so much and why I think you will too.
