Guillaume Lorin est un réalisateur français. Il est né et grandit en Guadeloupe. Il part à Paris pour étudier l’animation puis au Luxembourg où il travaillera pour divers studios. L'envie de réaliser ses propres films le mènera plus tard à l’école de la Poudrière. S'en suivent plusieurs expériences chez Folimage à Valence et Cartoon Saloon, à Kilkenny en Irlande, à différents postes, avant de passer à la réalisation de son premier film, "Vanille". Ce conte moderne fortement inspiré du folklore de son île natale nous plonge avec malice dans ces paysages insulaires et gagnera le Cristal du meilleur Unitaire TV au festival d'Annecy 2021.
