Monoah van der Velde is the founder of MV Research and Development, a motorsport-focused engineering startup born from his lifelong passion for racecar design. A recent engineering graduate from Andrews University, Monoah launched the company after a Formula 4 team approached him in 2024 to improve their camera mount system. Since then, he’s been working trackside to develop high-performance solutions like durable mounts and cooling adapters that address real operational challenges. His mission: make motorsport faster, safer, and more efficient through precision engineering.
