This podcast tells the story behind one of the songs on my "Proof in the Mirror" CD that I released in 2009.  The goal of this recording project was to record songs that help others hear and know the truth about what God thinks about them.  They are all written in the first person from God's perspective.  This song is an invitation from God to us to listen and hear His "still small voice."  

Many of the lyrics spring from 1 Kings 19, John 6 and Psalm 19.  

Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd, and we are his sheep, who hear his voice (John 10).
