Romana is a 35-year-old Reiki Master Teacher and spiritual business owner based in Berlin. She grew up in the countryside on the east coast of England, and for the past 10 years has been living and traveling in different countries, with Berlin as a home base for the last 7 years. She met her Reiki Master whilst traveling in Mexico, a moment that would change her life forever. Romana worked previously in fashion retail management and merchandising, and as an English teacher. These previous careers, her spiritual interests, and her personal healing journey all adding up and paving the way for the work she does now, living and serving her purpose.
In this episode, Romana and Pia talk about Reiki, an energy healing method with roots in Japan, that has been practiced for the last 100 years and is now gaining more and more attention for its healing abilities in the Western world. Today we find Reiki being practiced in more and more hospitals in the US, Canada, and Germany as a supporting tool to help people's recovery.
