I would like to tell you an incredible story about how life has its own designs: When I thought about this interview, I was looking to talk about Psychedelic Therapies and Research with my colleague and friend of the med school Dr. Christian Bjerre, Psychiatrist graduated from Duke University in the US. Nowadays he’s developing as a psychiatrist in the Memorial Sloan Kettering cancer center as a psycho-oncology clinical fellow. And he is looking to be part of the research team with psilocybin in cancer patients. Then the conversation became a beautiful testimony of self-improvement. A young Latin American going up from scratch, without influence contacts, without a renowned surname in the scientific community.
