THE ANATOMY OF THE THORACIC WALL AT2
In this podcast I discuss the anatomy of the thoracic wall, its musculature and the intercostal space as well as approaches to the intercostal nerve and its blockade.
Next time we will consider thoracotomy approaches, the thoracic apertures, suprapleural membrane, diaphragm and its embryology (as well as the anatomy of congenital diaphragmatic hernia) and the relevant osteology (thoracic vertebrae, ribs, sternum).
