Kay Chronister is the author of The Bog Wife (Counterpoint 2024), along with the collection Thin Places (2020) and the novel Desert Creatures (2022). Her short stories have appeared in Clarkesworld, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Strange Horizons, The Dark, and elsewhere, and her work has been nominated for the Shirley Jackson and World Fantasy Awards. She lives in Pennsylvania.
