In ancient times, sexuality was a divine act welcomed in temples, initiated by priestesses and celebrated openly. Our sexual energy was viewed as a powerful creative force - in fact, the very energy that gives birth to new life - and as such was treated with honour and reverence. However in modern dating and relationships, sexuality can be tied up with ownership, manipulation, shame and control. Unlike in ancient times, we aren't initiated into a way of sexuality that is holy and reverent - and as a result many of us are missing the important potency and spiritual growth that can come with sexual experiences. This week's guest is a Sexual/Spiritual Mentor and a woman who has had many lifetimes working as a Priestess (including in Ancient Egypt).
