Roy is a man who’s star is very much on the ascent right now, hopping all around the world to work for Vogue, Chanel, Hermes… and then home to tend to brides and his crammed appointment column at his salon, 72 The Gallery in Dun Laoghaire.
He’s talented, he’s brave and he’s an incredible guy with the most lovely way about him… the sort of energy and person you really want to be around… and I’d say all of these qualities, in equal parts explain why he’s now a regular, backstage at some of the biggest Fashion Week shows, both couture and ready-to-wear.
Roy tells us exactly how he worked his way up the ladder, what it takes to break in to the international scene and what really goes on backstage. We also talk trends, hero products the tools he can’t live without and some great advice for brides on the prep journey.
