I wanted to start a podcast that will showcase what it truly takes and means to be a veteran these days. As many know every veteran goes through months of training to do their job in uniform. When its time to EAS they only get a few weeks at best to rejoin the civilian life. Unfortunately this is the time we lose some of our 22 a day. Our veterans and Servicemembers over time have put a stigma on reaching out for help in their time of need. So that's where I got the idea of starting a podcast.

Episode 23- Deno Army Signal Support Systems Specialist Veteran

Deno has been on two deployments one to Afghanistan and one to Korea. Deno breaks down what a day in the 25U MOS is like while deployed. His MOS is not talked about much but after talking with him you can see how important his job was to the boots on the ground. In 2010 Deno was awarded with the Puerto Rican Freedom Medal and he breaks down what that medal means. I learn what the pace program offered to the army, when you sign up for a set number of years, I guess this program attempts to hook you up with a career after the military. Deno talks about his own podcast Sgt Deno’s True Talk, season one of his show is all about the body and season two is all about mental health.
