In this episode, we feature Dr. Betel Aklilu of Kelayi Chiropractic, a Black-owned, women-led company located in Alexandria, Virginia. I’ve been seeing Doctor A for a couple of years and was one of the first ones to follow her to the new practice. As most of you know, I’ve been dealing with back pain for years. Chiropractic care has been one of the few things that have relieved the pain. I was definitely looking forward to sitting down and talk about how she got into Chiropractic care and the negative perception of chiropractic care, balancing a business while trying to care for people, the broken healthcare system, and finding her passion.
