Why the name Amanah?

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakatuhu everyone!

Welcome to the Amanah Podcast! On this platform we will be exploring all aspects of living as Muslimah, with intention and purpose!

In this episode we explore the concept of Amanah, or trust. This trust has been given to us by Allah (Azawajal) in the form of free will and intelligence, or order that we may use it to worship Him. It is a huge responsibility.

"Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.” (Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 72)
