am I okay

I'm Lucy and I've had every mental health issue under the sun, I am the world's most accomplished over-thinker, and I used to hate myself profoundly. Now, I often like myself, I've had a semi spiritual awakening, and I only avoid the tube SOMETIMES. I hate that people feel shame about things that we shouldn't feel shame about - taking antidepressants, not having enough sex, having really disturbing dreams, because actually all of these things are normal. The title's an inside joke with myself and everyone I know because the one thing I'm constantly saying is: 'Am I okay?' Most likely, yes.

7. OCD: peas get lonely too

I feel like OCD's really having its moment right now, so I thought why not get involved?? I've been holding my breath next to trees and only eating circular food in pairs for DECADES (literally xo).

I'd love to say this episode will comfort anyone with OCD but I'm not sure it will - it might entertain you though, or possibly make you realise that you're not the only one with f*cked up thoughts that are completely irrational. If you'd like to listen to a long list of all the weird and wonderful things my OCD has made me do, jump aboard, if not, honestly no offence taken.
