Aluminiumpodden #12– Unik ellastbil från Scania, ny konstruktörshandbok och I&T i Finspång
Avsnitt 12 av Aluminiumpodden bjuder på en rad spännande saker. Podden kickstartar med en intervju med Jessica Björkqvist på Scania om en unik ellastbil. En lastbil som nu används för att transportera aluminiumprofiler mellan Hydros olika fabriker i Vetlanda. Denna imponerande pjäs på 40 ton är en del av ett initiativ som heter Scania Pilot Partner. Satsningen bygger på att Scania vill fälttesta ny teknik tillsammans med sina kunder innan delar av tekniken går till serieproduktion. Lastbilen körs av Hagéns Åkeri, ett lokalt åkeri som har lång erfarenhet av att köra Scania.
Avsnittet bjuder också på en intervju med Innovation & Technology, Hydros eget forskningscenter i Finspång. Ämnet är hållbarhet och hur I&T stöttar Hydro Extrusions övergripande arbete. Dessutom avslöjar vi vilka som vann Svenskt Aluminiums designtävling. Vi kan nu också stolt presentera uppdateringen av Hydros konstruktörshandbok, troligtvis den bästa och mest omfattande guiden i branschen om hur man designar med aluminium.
