The Utah Hockey Club gave Dylan Guenther an 8-year extension to his currernt contract as a reward for his attitude and work ethic. Leah Merrall and Craig Morgan broke down that decision on this week’s show, as well Michael Carcone’s landmark goal in the first preseason game, Clayton Keller’s OT winner, Liam O’Brien’s first fight in Salt Lake City and a timeline for coach André Tourigny’s first training camp cuts.
They also welcomed in Salt Lake Tribune beat writer Belle Fraser to provide the boots-on-the-ground perspective for Utah’s inaugural season.
